Recycling Plant ERC 20

The ELBA ERC 20 Recycling Plant is designed as a trough system and used to recycle residual concrete, mortar or screed in an eco friendly way. (According to the European Directive 2008/98/EC residual fresh concrete must be re-used).
The individual component parts of the material to be recycled are washed out in a closed material cycle. The process water can be re-used in the concrete production.

Mode of operation:
The concrete fluidized inside the vehicle via the swivelling gallows-shaped pipe will be discharged into the material feeding trough. The attached water nozzles ensure a fast material flow from the feeding trough to the actual recycling plant.
The washout spiral rotating in the water bath separates the aggregates from the cement paste. The spiral is so designed that a sufficient residence time of the material in the drum reduces the residual moisture in the aggregates considerably until the recycled material is discharged through the outlet of the washout trough. A concrete layer that is placed at the first start-up protects the washout drum against wear for a long time and allows long performing times. The cement paste dissolved by water is conveyed through the overflow conduit into the suspension basin. The ELBA recycling plant achieves a screen cut of 0.2 mm. A cleaning opening and a sight glass in the washout drum facilitate maintenance works.
